Short Itinerary

Day 1 :-Pick up to you from Dehradun Railway Station to Dhaula Camp (1700 Mt.) Overnight stay in tents .

Day 2 : -After breakfast from Sewa village to (2000mt.) to Jakha (2400mt.) Distance 12km. Route-(Via) Jiskon village (2500Mt) Overnight stay in tents .

Day 3 :-After breakfast from Sewa village to (2000mt.) to Jakha (2400mt.) Distance 12km. Route-(Via) Jiskon village (2500Mt) Overnight stay in tents .

Day 4 :-After breakfast from Jakha Bridge (2500m.) to Suruwas thach (3300m.) Distance 12km Route-(Via) Pandhar Village (3000 mt.) Overnight stay in tents .

Day 5 :-After breakfast from Suruwas thach (3300 mt.) to Dhabderas Thach (5kmt) (5hrs) (4200 mt.) Overnight stay in tents .

Day 6 :- After breakfast from Dhandras Thach to (3800m.) Upper Waterfall camp by trek (3kmt) (3hrs)(4000mt) Overnight stay in tents.

Day 7 :- 07 After breakfast Upper water Fall to Roti Gad by trek (12kmt)(7hrs) (4500Mt) Overnight stay in tents.

Day 8 :- After breakfast Roti Gad To Sangla by trek (12kmt)(7hrs)(4000mt)/same day take the night bus from Shimla .




Getting to the base camp H.P.M.A

1. Take an overnight train to Dehradun from Delhi. New Delhi-Dehradun A/C special train from New Delhi station is the best option. The train reaches Dehradun at 5.40 am. If you Meet to our office member and drive to Sankri base camp office ..Harkidun Road Sankri our first camp Dhaula.

2. H.P.M.A - Arrange to you transportation for you from Dehradun Railway station to sankri and back the transport is in Max, Bolero Tampo travller , 5. amd 10 People sharing A taxi Costs are pay to directly taxi driver !

3. Per Person Dehradun to Dhaula costs Rs. 11,00/- Rupees one thousand one hundred only pickup !!

4. Description by (H.P.M.A) Best season to do Rupin - 5 May to 15 June & 15 September to Last October The trek starts from middle of May. It is not possible to do Rupin in the first weeks of May as the snow is too high.

5. Rupin Pass is a high altitude pass across the Himalaya mountain range in state of Himachal Pradesh, India. It lies on a traditional shepherd and hiking rout which starts from Dhaula in Uttarakhand and ends in Sangla in Himachal Pradesh. The path itself is located across mostly uninhabited areas in the Himalayan ranges at an elevation of 15,250 ft (4,650M) above sea level.

Rupin Pass Trek, Itinerary

Day- 01 Pick up to you from Dehradun Railway Station to Dhaula Camp (1700 Mt.) Overnight stay in tents

Pick you to you Dehradun Railway Station Drive in from Dehradun, very early in the morning to beat traffic. Lunch on the way Purola market and after lunch drive to Reach Netwar forest check post Unite. Dhaula Reach Dhaula late in the evening Camp enjoing to beautiful camp near by Rupin River for the night saty in tents.

Day- 02 After breakfast from Dhaula camp to Godsngu (2000mt.) Distance 10km. Route-(Via) Sewa (2000mt.) (12kmt) (6hrs) Overnight stay in tents

Level climbs with short gental walk in between Easy Day; Follow trail on true right of Rupin River. Go past at Sewa village and camp at Gosangu. From here one route goes across Rupin to kitwari and takes call on this direction depending on ground conditions.

Day- 03 After breakfast from Sewa village to (2000mt.) to Jakha (2400mt.) Distance 12km. Route-(Via) Jiskon village (2500Mt) Overnight stay in tents

Trail Follow on river side and then gradually up to reach Jiskon village perched at a height almost over confluence of rupin and Narayani Gaad. Proceed ahead till Jakha till the route crosses the Rupin and the retracing trail to Narayani.

Day- 04 After breakfast from Jakha Bridge (2500m.) to Suruwas thach (3300m.) Distance 12km Route-(Via) Pandhar Village (3000 mt.) Overnight stay in tents

Tough Day-River Crossings: After trekking to the confluence. Catch the True Right bank of Narayani Gaad. Proceed North-East till flat grounds of Suriwas in Gradually rising trail. Cross at least 4 tributary Nalas Camp.

Day - 05 After breakfast from Suruwas thach (3300 mt.) to Dhabderas Thach (5kmt) (5hrs) (4200 mt.) Overnight stay in tents

Break camp early to proceed beyond the major confluence up North. Keep to True right bank and catch the Spur due North leading to. Dhabderas Thach Climb the side to Base camp as ground levels out near the pass base.

Day - 06 After breakfast from Dhandras Thach to (3800m.) Upper Waterfall camp by trek (3kmt) (3hrs)(4000mt) Overnight stay in tents

with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight stay in Tent seema/Cheludgad.Osla is a small village that is famous for a Duryodhana Temple. Some people say it is the temple of Someshwar Devta (an avatar of Lord Shiva).

Days - 07 After breakfast Upper water Fall to Roti Gad by trek (12kmt)(7hrs) (4500Mt) Overnight stay in tents

Have some breakfast start trek with packed lunch. Seema and Osla are prominent villages on the trail to Harkidun in the Western Garhwal region. The village folk have a prominent temple in their village but more importantly what they consider sacred is the Maldaru Lake. Maldaru is located about 1500 M above their village towards east. But this route steep. If you wish to enjoy the views, it is the route from Taluka that captures the imagination of all trekkers. Days 08 After breakfast Roti Gad To Sangla by trek (12kmt)(7hrs)(4000mt)/same day take the night bus from Shimla

The Rupin Pass is usually devoid of snow post monsoon, though snow patches exists. Intermittent snow fall happen in bursts three or four times in October, though the snow doesn't last for long. It gets very cold in the last half of October.
